We don't have a wedding party!

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?
We don't have a hotel block for guests, although we do recommend these options nearby:

Fox Hotel & Suites (more affordable)

Peaks Hotel & Suites (treat yo' self *This is where we'll be staying!)

That said, please stay wherever you like! We recommend you book early to avoid disappointment and higher prices. 

Can I bring my kids?
While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the day. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us. Jay's nephew Gabriel will be the only exception.

What's the dress code?
Even though our wedding will be fairly non-traditional, Pam will still be in a wedding gown, and Jay will be in a suit. We ask that you dress up nicely in semi-formal attire.

What time should I arrive?
Please arrive at the ceremony venue around 5 p.m. to allow time to find parking and get settled, so we can begin at 5:15 p.m. Our reception does not have a formal start time. Please make your way to the restaurant after our ceremony and photos, enjoy a drink, and we'll begin once everyone has arrived. 

Where do I park?
At Tunnel Mountain Reservoir, there is free street parking along Tunnel Mountain Drive; however, it's very limited! Please carpool if you're able. Guests can park for free at The Fenlands Banff Recreation Centre and carpool from there, or just carpool generally from your accommodations. At Three Bears Brewery & Restaurant, there is paid street parking or Bear Street Parking Lot nearby. You may also wish to stay close to the reception venue, where you can park your vehicle and walk over. Please do not drink and drive. 

What if the weather is bad?
We're hoping for a beautiful, clear day... but this is the mountains where the weather can turn quickly! To be safe, we booked a backup indoor venue if the weather is not in our favour and will notify everyone by phone the day-of if we need to change locations.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?
Please "unplug" and refrain from taking your own pictures at the ceremony. We have professional photographers who will take care of that, so you can enjoy the moment! Otherwise, feel free to take and post as many photos as you like throughout other parts of the day. We don't have a wedding hashtag. 

What will there be for food and drinks at the reception?
Rest assured, we've picked a yummy menu for you to enjoy, with options available for all diets. And... all your drinks are covered as part of our reservation, up until last call at 10:30 p.m.! Please drink responsibly. 

What time will your reception end? Is there an after-party?
Our private room at the restaurant is booked until 11 p.m. We plan to eat, drink, and have a good time, although there's no formal dance or party planned. That said, please feel free to keep the party going on your own after our reception! 

Will there be other events to attend on the wedding weekend?
We're having a small rehearsal dinner with immediate family on Friday. Otherwise, unless we asked for help on a specific task, our guests have nowhere to be until the ceremony on Saturday. Feel free to plan your weekend around the wedding, as you like! 

Is there a wedding gift registry?
No, we're not registered anywhere. The most important thing to us is that you're able to celebrate with us on our wedding day. However, if you wish to give a gift, we'll gratefully accept cash to go towards our honeymoon.
